On December 15th, 2025, Vietnam Maritime University welcomed the Delegation from NYK Line, Kitaura Kaiun Co., Ltd., and Inlaco-HP.
The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Vice President of VMU, along with representatives of relevant departments and faculties. The partner Delegation included Mr. Shigeki Shimoaoki, General Manager of Kitaura Kaiun Co. Ltd., Mr. Sasaki Ryo from NYK Line, and Ms. Vu Hoang Phuong, Director of Inlaco-HP.

At the meeting, the University introduced its maritime education and training capabilities, emphasizing that VMU graduates meet international standards, with many seafarers successfully employed on foreign fleets after graduation. The University expressed its commitment to strengthening sustainable cooperation with reputable international maritime companies for mutual benefit.
Representatives of NYK Line, Kitaura Kaiun Co., Ltd. and Inlaco-HP highly appreciated the warm reception and reaffirmed their interest in expanding future cooperation, particularly in internships onboard ships and joint training programs.
Following the meeting, the Delegation visited typical training facilities of VMU. The working session marked a positive step toward further enhancing cooperation in maritime education and training.
