Vietnam Maritime University’s Graduation Ceremony 2025

From August 7^th to 9^th, 2025, Vietnam Maritime University held its distinguished Graduation Ceremony for over 2,000 graduates. This event not only marked an important milestone in their academic journeys but also underscores the University’s achievements in developing high-quality human resources for the national maritime economy.

The ceremony took place in a warm and dignified atmosphere, with the presence of the University’s leaders, representatives of departments, faculties, institutes, as well as families and friends. The ceremony saw the official awarding of graduation certificated to 2,005 students from the full-time undergraduate program and 41 from the part-time program. Additionally, 36 valedictorians were recognized for outstanding academic excellence.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Duong - President, reaffirmed that, with a rich history of nearly 70 years, the University has made significant contributions to the transportation industry as well as the national economy and defense. In the context that our University has been selected by the Vietnamese Government to be developed into a National Key University for the period from 2026 - 2030, with a vision toward 2050, Vietnam Maritime University has progressively affirmed its position as a leading educational and training institution contributing significantly and comprehensively to the development of the transportation sector, the national economy, and national defense and security.
