Information session on opportunity to work for DAIZO TEC Co., LTD, belonging to Oshima Ship Building Group, Japan.

Daizo Tec Co., Ltd is a 100% Japan investment company that was established in 2006 by the two Japanese companies named Oshima Shipbuilding and Ohima Engineering Co., Ltd. The main business line of Daizo Tec is drawing and concerned equipment design for new shipbuilding.

Daizo Tec Co., Ltd currently would like to recruit twenty two (22) ship-design engineers from the University

- Venue: No 1706 Vit Tower, 519 Kim Ma, Ba Đinh, Ha Noi.

The delegation of International University of Japan, Mitsubishi Corporation, WASEDA University in Japan visited and worked with leaders of Vietnam Maritime University (VMU).

On August 26th, 2014, Dr. Le Quoc Tien- Vice President of Vietnam Maritime University warmly welcomed and worked with the delegation of International University of Japan, Mitsubishi Corporation, WASEDA University in Japan led by Dr. Ryuta Ray Kato- Vice President of International University of Japan . Along with the delegation were leaders of the International Relations Department, Department of Academic Affairs, Department of Administration .

VMU enhances cooperation opportunities with International University of Japan (IUJ)

On June 3rd, 2014, Dr. Ryuta Ray Kato, Vice President of International University of Japan paid a visit to VMU, and he was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Luong Cong Nho, President of VMU. Dr. Le Quoc Tien, Vice President, and leaders of International Relations Department, Foreign Language Center also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about the organizational structure, education and training, scientific research activities of VMU to find out the best ways of cooperation.

Student English Contest 2014 Culture and Integration

Nowadays English is increasingly growing in porpularity. Learning English is not simply a need but it is a must for students to not only graduate from  school or get a good job in the future; the more important point is that with the help of  English we will be able to communicate, learn and share cultures with friends from all around the world. With the above meanings, in the evening of May 7th, Vietnam Maritime University organized English Contest to provide the students with a playground for English practice.

Meeting & friendly exchange with Laotian and Cambodian students on the occasion of traditional new year holidays: Bunpimay and Chol Chnam Thmay 2014

In the morning of April 13th, The Vietnam - Lao Friendship Association, in cooperation with Hai Phong University and Vietnam Maritime University to organize a meeting and friendly exchange with Laotian and Cambodian students on the occasion of traditional new year holidays: Bunpimay and Chol Chnam Thmay 2014, for those who are currently studying in the city.

President Luong Cong Nho Holds Talks with Secretary of State H.E. Mr. Sokhom Pheakavanmony, Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT)

On October 13th, 2013, Prof. Dr. Luong Cong Nho, President of Vietnam Maritime University (VMU) received the delegation of Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) led by H.E. Mr. Sokhom Pheakavanmony, the Secretary of State. The meeting discussed promoting in-depth development of education and training cooperation between VMU and MPWT.

Pham Xuan Duong, PhD - Vice president welcomed and worked with leaders of Tasmania University (Australia)

On September 12th, 2013, Tasmania University delegation, led by Professor Dev Ranmuthugala, Director of the National Centre for Ports and Shipping, AMC/Utas has visited and worked with Vietnam Maritime University. Along with the delegation were leaders of the International Relations Department; Institute of International Education.
