VMU enhances cooperation opportunities with International University of Japan (IUJ)

On June 3rd, 2014, Dr. Ryuta Ray Kato, Vice President of International University of Japan paid a visit to VMU, and he was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Luong Cong Nho, President of VMU. Dr. Le Quoc Tien, Vice President, and leaders of International Relations Department, Foreign Language Center also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about the organizational structure, education and training, scientific research activities of VMU to find out the best ways of cooperation.

On behalf of VMU, Dr. Le Quoc Tien introduced general information of VMU with the emphasis on the University’s higher education and post education. Being assigned by the government and relevant ministries to educate and train high quality human resources for the country, VMU has always focused on strengthening international cooperation and innovating training and research methodologies to reach international standards. Dr. Tien expressed his willingness in developing cooperation with IUJ in exchange students and lectures.

At the meeting, two sides signed Memorandum of Agreement.

End of the working, Dr. Ryuta Ray Kato – Vice President of IUJ thanked the warmly welcome which VMU extended for him and look forward to further cooperating in future.
